HEADS UP FOR HALLOWEEN
I got a great idea from my friend Rebecca that we are going to do for Halloween. It requires a little advanced planning and the post won't show up until after Halloween. Incase your looking for a fun Halloween service project, we are going to get together with some friends and do a Halloween parade at a local assisted-living/retirement home.

Jaymie, can I just say that you are *officially* my new hero? The cookies are very cool indeed, but a Halloween parade for the grannies and grandpas out there? Awesome!! I'm totally going to be one of those old ladies who would LOVE to see little munchkins in costume, so I'm happy even thinking about this idea. Thanks for posting this! And, I'm really loving the spare change idea too. That is getting set up at our house this week. You're an inspiration! :-)

ReplyDeleteSo I was telling my Mom about this and our experience. She said she did that very same thing with us when we were little with some friends.
